Iowa Central Today vs Scott Community College

The regular season is winding down and IC last home game is today against Scott CC.  Iowa Central needs to win the last two regular season matches to stay in second place in the conference and receive a bye in the conference tournament.  The recap of IC last game is now posted and can be read by following this link.
Coaches and players should never look beyond their next game but fortunately that does not apply to blog writers and parents.  The last two games of this season are against teams that have not performed well this year and the total combined wins of both teams are less than the number of games that IC has won so I am predicting two wins for IC.
The big game of the season will be on Saturday October 30 in Des Moines and that will be against Dakota.  IC defeated Dakota 2-1 on the 8th and tied them 0-0 on the 15th so it will be a tough game and too close to predict right now. The winner of that game will play on the 31st against Iowa Western.  Iowa Central has played Iowa Western tougher than any other conference team this season so if IC makes it through Dakota then anything is possible.
The game on the 30th is at 12:00 on field 8 at James W. Cownie Soccer Park.
