I plan to go watch CMU play Lindenwood University this evening in Fayette. Debra has a meeting and can not go so a family friend will be accompanying me to ke ep me out of trouble. Meredith was cleared to practice but most likely will not play so I guess I really am a soccer junkie and a glutton for punishment to watch CMU go through the motions. The tiny bit of optimism in me is saying that it may be different this time and CMU could come through with a win. Time will tell. The weather forecast for the game is calling for gusty WSW winds to 34 MPH and 60 degrees, sounds like a great day to watch a soccer game.
The first round of the ICCAC tournament has been played and Iowa Central's opponent for Saturday's game is DCTC (as predicted). Here is was the coach posted on the Facebook page. (Side note: IC's coach William "Willie" McGowan is from Scotland)
Iowa Central Community College Women's Soccer Just heard that DCTC beat ILCC by a score of 4-1. ILCC were up 1-0 until 68th min, then lost 4 goals in the last 20+ minutes. So, DCTC on Saturday at 12pm at Cownie. In the words of William Wallace in Braveheart - ARE YOU READY FOR A WAR??!!!!!! lol
